For only $150 a year, you can sponsor a senior citizen to receive a food box every other week for a year.

The Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas realizes how difficult it is for our older citizens on fixed incomes to always have enough to eat. That’s why we began our Sr. Pack program. Sr. Pack is a food box program that is open to men and women aged 60 and above who meet our income eligibility guidelines.

Here’s how the Senior Pack Program works:
For only $150 a year, you can sponsor a deserving senior by supplying them with a 20 pound box of groceries every other week for one year. This means you are guaranteeing that 26 boxes full of nutritious and healthy food will be received by the senior of your choice. Some recipients choose to pick up their own boxes by coming to the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas while others depend on one of the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas' wonderful volunteers to deliver the boxes to a recipient’s front door.

Sponsorships* for a Sr. Pack can come from a relative or friend, a business or a civic group, or a friend or neighbor. You can even give a Sr. Pack sponsorship in honor of someone’s birthday or wedding anniversary. This is a wonderful way to show you care and honor our seniors and make sure their grocery needs are taken care of. All for just $150 a year!
